CUTTING AND STYLING

My cutting and styling services are carried out to the very highest standards of technique and style. The intention is to give the customer a hairstyle that they can easily manage at home with a minimum of effort and product.

For all cutting/styling services, the hair will be shampooed and conditioned first using top-quality salon products. Customers booking colouring services should not wash their hair immediately before visiting the salon. This protects the scalp and makes foils hold better and closer to the root area. Customers requiring hair-up services should check with the salon as to whether the hair should be shampooed as part of the service as it can affect the durability of the style.

Highlights

I always strive to do things differently, creating individual looks for my customers. With this in mind, I have developed a system of highlighting hair that is unlike those used by my competitors. My highlights are designed to look natural, as though the hair has been kissed by the sun. To achieve this I deliberately place the brighter primary lights just underneath the parting and slightly away from the front hairline, this avoids showing where the highlights start and allows the colour to shine through the secondary lights as the hair moves.
